Brief: To promote and raise awareness of climate change issues through the postage stamp.
The outcome for this brief uses the ethos of the butterfly effect, how small changes, no matter how big the step collectively add up to create a huge difference.
By reducing the size of the postage stamp it is possible for the Royal Mail to save an incredible amount of raw materials. This, alongside the franking stamp which acts as a point of reference to the old sizes, would encourage the public to follow suite and do their 'little bit' for a big change.
